In some cases, with simultaneous use of levocetirizine with ethanol or drugs that have an overwhelming effect on the central nervous system, it is possible to increase their effect on the central nervous system, although it has not been proven that the racemate of cetirizine potentiates the effect of ethanol.
When studying the drug interaction of the racemate cetirizine with phenazone, pseudoephedrine, cimetidine, ketoconazole, erythromycin, azithromycin, glipizide and diazepam, no clinically significant undesirable interaction was revealed.
