special instructions

Before starting treatment, read the special instructions:
Taking the drug at night may increase the symptoms of reflux esophagitis.
When combined with ototoxic drugs Suprastin may mask early signs of ototoxicity.
Suprastin can enhance the effect of ethanol on the central nervous system, and therefore, while taking the drug Suprastin, alcohol should be avoided.
Diseases of the liver and kidneys may require a change (decrease) in the dose of the drug, and therefore the patient must inform the doctor about his liver or kidney disease.
Prolonged use of antihistamines can lead to disorders of the hematopoietic system (leukopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia). If during prolonged use there is an unexplained increase in body temperature, laryngitis, pale skin, jaundice, ulceration in the mouth, hematomas, unusual and long-lasting bleeding, it is necessary to perform a blood test to determine the number of formed elements. If the results of the analysis indicate a change in the blood formula, the drug is discontinued.

Interaction with other drugs

When prescribing the drug, it is necessary to take into account the interaction with other drugs:
The drug enhances the action of barbiturates, M-anticholinergics, opioid analgesics.
MAO inhibitors can enhance and prolong the anticholinergic effect of chloropyramine.
When combined with ototoxic drugs Suprastin may mask signs of ototoxicity.
Antihistamines can distort the results of skin allergy tests, therefore, a few days before the planned test, the use of drugs in this group should be stopped.

Reviews

We offer you to read the reviews of people who used the drug Suprastin:
Catherine
And I have allergic swelling. I bought different drugs, both cheap and expensive, suprastin helps best (in general, the only thing that helps). True, two pills at a time. And after taking it “cuts”, you need to sleep 30-40 minutes. But everything passes.
Veronica
I can not say anything bad about this drug, because my daughters always prescribed suprastin for allergies and he helped in specific cases. Of course there was some drowsiness, but antiallergic drugs always almost cause it, this is normal. If you choose the right dosage and carefully handle the medicine, which means you are careful with your health, then there will be no global problems.
Maria
I have been allergic since childhood, allergic to foods, and it is not always possible to understand that I ate one that caused the rash. Suprastin is no substitute for me. It quickly relieves the symptoms of allergies, a rash and itching in a couple of days. The only downside is that the pills are bitter. Well worth Suprastin not cheap.
