Composition
1 tablet contains:
Active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol - 1.2 mg, amylmethacresol - 600 mcg.
Excipients: sucrose - 1618 mg, dextrose - 830.4 mg, citric acid monohydrate - 15 mg, field mint leaf oil - 1.25 mg, blackcurrant flavor - 6.25 mg, azorubin dye - 62.5 μg, diamond dye blue - 27.5 mcg.

Pharmacodynamics
The antimicrobial effect of Hexoral tabs classic is associated with the suppression of oxidative reactions of bacterial metabolism (thiamine antagonist). The drug has a wide spectrum of antibacterial and antifungal effects, in particular against gram-positive bacteria and fungi of the genus Candida, but Hexoral tabs classic can also have an effect in the treatment of infections caused, for example, by Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Proteus. At a concentration of 100 mg / ml, the drug suppresses most bacterial strains. The development of sustainability was not observed. Hexetidine has a weak anesthetic effect on the mucous membrane.
Pharmacokinetics
Hexetidine adheres very well to the mucous membrane and is practically not absorbed.
After a single use of the active substance, its traces are found on the gum mucosa for 65 hours. In plaques on the teeth, active concentrations remain for 10-14 hours after application.
Indications
inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx;
severe, accompanied by fever or purulent diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, requiring the appointment of antibiotics and sulfonamides, tonsillitis (as part of complex therapy);
tonsillitis (including tonsillitis with damage to the lateral ridges, tonsillitis of Plaut-Wincent);

periodontopathy (periodontal diseases and their symptoms);
stomatitis (inflammation of the oral mucosa), glossitis (inflammation of the tongue), aphthous ulcers (painful inflammation with superficial tissue defects) - with the aim of preventing superinfection;
infection of the alveoli (tooth holes) after tooth extraction;
fungal infections of the oral cavity and pharynx, especially candidal stomatitis (thrush);
before and after operations in the oral cavity and pharynx;
additional oral hygiene for common diseases;
elimination of bad breath, especially in the case of collapsing tumors of the oral cavity and pharynx;
an aid in the treatment of colds.
