Verospiron is a diuretic used to treat edema.

Instructions for use of Verospiron and doses

The use of the drug is possible only as directed by a doctor.
With cirrhosis of the liver, the daily dose of the drug is 100 mg, 200 mg or 400 mg per day (the dose depends on the complexity of the course of the disease).
In nephrotic syndrome, the daily dose ranges from 100 to 200 mg.
With edematous syndrome, take from 100 mg / day. up to 200 mg / day. three times a day.
Verospiron is prescribed daily for 5 days, then the daily dose is gradually reduced and brought to 25 mg or increased to 400 mg in 4 divided doses.
With high blood pressure, Verospiron is prescribed 50-100 mg of the drug per day, once, or in 4 doses, for 2 weeks. The drug can be combined with antihypertensive drugs.
With hypokalemia, take 25-100 mg at a time or up to 400 mg in several doses.

Side effects
