Pharmacological effect

Nemulex is a broad-spectrum medicine that has a diverse effect on the human body. In the complex, the drug has antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antiaggregate (aggregation - cell sticking into a large multicellular formation) effects. Medication is attributed to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
Unlike all other drugs of this group, the drug Nemulex selectively has a suppressive effect (inhibits) on COX-2, slows down and completely stops the process of synthesizing prostaglandins in the area of inflammation. At the same time, the influence of Nemulex on COX-1 is much less pronounced. As a result, less frequently than other NSAIDs, side effects develop due to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in healthy cells and tissues.

special instructions

Before you start using the drug, read the specific instructions:
In case of deterioration in renal function, the drug should be discontinued.
If the drug is used for more than 2 weeks, monitoring of liver function indicators is necessary.
It is necessary to stop taking the drug in case of fever or the development of flu-like symptoms on the background of his reception.
Gastrointestinal bleeding or an ulcer / perforation of the stomach or duodenum may develop at any time with the use of the drug and not be accompanied by clinically pronounced symptoms (including pain syndrome). If gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration occurs, the drug should be withdrawn.
To reduce the risk of side effects, it is necessary to use the drug in the lowest effective dose with the shortest duration. If the patient’s condition does not improve, treatment should be stopped.
When patients taking Nemulex, symptoms that indicate liver damage (eg, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue, dark urine), or increased activity of hepatic transaminases, the drug should be canceled. It is not recommended to appoint such patients to Nemulex in the future.
In patients with cirrhosis of the liver or with renal insufficiency with hypoalbuminemia or hyperbilirubinemia, the binding of nimesulide is reduced.

Drug interactions

When using the drug, you must consider the interaction with other drugs:
Nemulex can enhance the effects of cyclosporine on the kidneys.
Physiological concentrations of unsaturated fatty acids do not affect the binding of nimesulide to serum albumin.
At therapeutic concentrations, the binding of nimesulide was not affected by warfarin, furosemide, glibenclamide, digitoxin.
The drug Nemulex is not recommended at the same time as diuretics, which have a damaging effect on renal hemodynamics.
In the presence of nimesulide, the free fractions of methotrexate can significantly increase.
The concentration of lithium in the plasma increases while taking lithium preparations and the drug Nemulex.
The drug Nemulex in therapeutic doses orally for a short period does not change the serum profile of digoxin in patients with mild heart failure.
Nemulex has no effect on drugs that affect blood glucose concentration and glucose tolerance in patients with diabetes mellitus treated with sulfonylurea derivatives.
There is evidence that nimesulide can reduce the bioavailability of furosemide, compete for binding to plasma proteins of fenofibrate, salicylic acid, and tolbutamides. Nemulex can replace salicylic acid and furosemide (but not warfarin) in plasma proteins.
With simultaneous use of the drug Nemulex with corticosteroids, serotonin reuptake inhibitors increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Excellent working generic, besides containing less sugar than the original version, which is important in some patients with carbohydrate metabolism. The price is normal compared to the same original. Efficiency showed no worse. Side effects - like all Nimesulides, no more and no less.
Anton
Wonderful drug. He sprained his leg strongly, with all the consequences, the swelling was strong, the bruise was hellish pain - it was impossible to step on one leg After a pill of diclofenac and two small bags of non-flex, it somehow began to move. The pain specifically subsided.
