Composition and form of release

Active substance: carbocysteine, 20 mg per 1 ml of orange syrup (2%). 50 mg of carbocysteine ​​per 1 ml of green liquid (5%).
Additional components: banana or caramel flavor, sodium hydroxide, glycerin, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sucrose, water, orange or green dye.

Pharmacological properties

The active substance carbocysteine ​​acts directly on very viscous sputum in the bronchi: it dilutes glycoproteins due to rupture of disulfide bridges. This causes the removal of fluid from the bronchi and lungs. Further, the drug supports the regulation of sputum at the level necessary for a quick recovery.
Fluditec achieves this effect due to the special enzyme of the goblet cells of the bronchial membrane, sialic transfenase. The active substance of Fluditec regulates the number of neutral and acidic enzymes and the goblet cells themselves. This affects the resumption of normal viscosity of sputum in the bronchi, its elasticity. The number of hydrophilic mucins that hold water increases, which positively affects the dilution of thick sputum. The efficiency of flickering epithelium is also activated, mucociliary clearance is improved. Sputum transportation is established due to the activation of the movement of the villi of the ciliary epithelium and an increase in the efficiency of the ciliary push. The tool is able to renew the mucous membrane in all airways, which effectively stops the production of mucus.
The anti-inflammatory effect is guaranteed due to the specific activity of sialomucins, namely they reduce bronchial obstruction and edema. Microcirculation improves. Immunoglobulin A is concentrated to a greater extent and thereby contributes to the activation of local immunity.
Fluditec is also able to positively influence the resumption of certain functions of the immune system: it resumes the secretion of active IgA and regulates the number of sulfhydryl constituent mucus groups.
The active substance after 2-3 hours after administration is absorbed as much as possible. The action takes place over 8 hours.
Carbocysteine ​​has the property of being excreted in the urine in its unchanged form or in the form of metabolites.

Indications for use

Fluditec was created for use in order to restore violations of the secretion of the bronchi, as well as removing sputum from them during acute diseases of the lungs or bronchi. It could be, for example:
    tracheobronchitis,
    pneumonia,
    bronchiectatic disease,
    tracheitis,
    laryngitis,
    acute bronchitis.
Treatment is carried out with the drug in case of chronic diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses of a chronic course with impaired sputum excretion, including viscous and thick. It acts against diseases: nasopharyngitis, sinusitis, inflammation of the middle ear.
Among the indications may be preparation for the procedures: bronchoscopy, bronchography.
Also, a good effect of the agent is observed in case of exacerbations of chronic respiratory diseases.

Method and application features

A 2% remedy is recommended for the treatment of children under 15 years of age. And adults take 5%.
Dosing of 2% Fluditec.
Children from 2 to 5 years old are supposed to take 200 mg of syrup 2 times a day (this is 5 ml / 2 times a day).
Children from 5 to 15 years old are supposed to take 300 mg of syrup 3 times a day (5 ml / 3 times a day).

Side effects

Contraindications

Interaction with other medicines
