Dosage form, composition

Oftagel is a medicinal solution of a thick consistency without color and pronounced odor. The active substance is carbomer. As part of Oftagel, this high-molecular compound provides a therapeutic effect. Additional components are presented:
    base - water for injection;
    synthetic water-soluble polymer - polyvinyl alcohol;
    amino acid - lysine-L monohydrate;
    antiseptic component - benzalkonium chloride;
    hexahedral alcohol - sorbitol;
    sodium salt of acetic acid - sodium acetate.
Auxiliary components have an additional moisturizing, nourishing, antiseptic effect.
Oftagel eye drops are packaged in 10 ml polyethylene tubes. The bottle is supplied with a pipette with a screwed cap, a ring for regulating the opening of the bottle, instructions for use. Packaging - branded cardboard boxes.

Mechanism of action

The substance carbomer is a long-chain polymer with an acrylic acid monomer unit. High molecular weight polyacrylate in physical properties is a moderately opalescent, colorless gel.     pathological changes in the eyelid, due to which the cornea is loosely in contact with the tear;

Contraindications
