Pharmacological properties

Nemozole has the following effects on worms:
    inhibits beta tubulin polymerization, reduces the activity of the cytoplasmic system of intestinal cells of parasitic worms;
    violates the course of metabolic processes (prevents the absorption of glucose);
    blocks the transport of secretory elements and other components in the muscle cells of the worms, which leads to the death of parasites.
The most sensitive to albendazole are the larval forms of the echinococcus, the pork tapeworm, the acne intestinal.
    The active substance is slowly absorbed by the intestinal walls, not detected in the blood unchanged.
In the liver, albendazole is converted to a pharmacologically active metabolite - albendazole sulfoxide. The greatest amount of this compound in the blood is detected after 5 hours. It penetrates certain tissues and fluids of the human body. In high concentrations, the drug accumulates in the worms cysts.
Albendazole leaves the body in the form of metabolites in the urine. The half-life takes 12 hours.

Reviews of parasitologists and patients

Sergey Petrovich, 49 years old, Moscow, infectious diseases doctor
“Patients come to the reception with complaints of problems with digestion and poor health. Worm invasions are found in most applicants.
With the help of standard analyzes, all types of parasitic worms cannot be identified, therefore, I prescribe a wide range of efficacy to patients. These include Nemozole. It is active against most of the most common types of worms. With proper use of the drug does not adversely affect the body. The advantage of
Nemozole is the ability to destroy not only adult individuals, but also the larvae of worms. ”
Oksana, 30 years old, Krasnodar
Nemozole used to treat ascariasis in a two-year-old son. Suspension gave the child 4 times 5 ml. For the prevention of myself and my husband, I bought Nemozole tablets. We didn’t have any side effects. The child had diarrhea in the evening. Another disadvantage is the unpleasant bitter taste of the suspension, which can cause problems in the treatment of children. The analyzes made after the treatment showed the absence of helminths, therefore, the drug was satisfied. "
