Composition and form of release

Triovit is available in the form of capsules, 10 pieces in one blister, 3 blisters in one pack.
The composition of 1 capsule of Triovit includes:
    betab 20% - 50 mg (10 mg beta-carotene);
    yeast complex with selenium 2000 - 25 mg (50 μg of selenium in combination with yeast);
    ascorbic acid - 100 mg;
    alpha tocopherol acetate 50% - 80 mg (40 mg alpha tocopherol acetate).
Clinical and pharmacological group: a complex of vitamins with a trace element.

Indications for use

Triovit capsules are recommended for use in adults and children from 15 years of age (on the recommendation of a doctor in children from 10 years old):
    with nicotine addiction;
    when working in hazardous working conditions;
    with a deficiency of antioxidant vitamins and selenium;
    with malnutrition and an unbalanced diet;
    when exposed to active solar radiation (summer tan);
    with intense physical and mental stress;
    when living in regions with adverse environmental conditions, in particular in large cities.

pharmachologic effect

Vitamin preparation with trace element selenium. Vitamin E (tocopherol acetate), vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and vitamin A precursor (beta-carotene), which are part of triovitis, are antioxidants (agents that prevent lipid peroxidation of cell membranes).
They protect the cells of the human body from the damaging effects of free radicals. Selenium is a part of glutathione peroxidase (enzyme), which is a natural protective system of the cell from peroxidation.

Instructions for use

According to the instructions for use, Triovit capsules should be taken orally, after eating, with a little water.
    Triovit capsules are not recommended for children under 15 years of age.
    Children from 10 years old can take 1 capsule / day under medical supervision. It is recommended to take 1-2 capsules / day.
The course of treatment is 2 months, repeated courses on the recommendation of a doctor.

Contraindications

You can not use the drug in such cases:
    hypersensitivity to any element of the complex
    excess in the body of vitamins A and E;
    child's age is up to 10 years.
It is used with caution in pregnant women and women during breastfeeding, and only under the supervision of a specialist.
In children under the recommended age, the use of Triovit is possible, but should be carried out strictly under the supervision of a doctor.

Side effects

In individuals with increased individual sensitivity, side effects may develop:
