Composition and form of release

The medication is available in the form of ointments, suppositories and in tablet dosage form.
    1 tablet contains 0.5 g of the active substance - methyluracil.

Methyluracil tablets are used to treat the following diseases / conditions:
    Anemia;
    Thrombocytopenia;

    Burns;

Pharmachologic effect

Instructions for use

According to the instructions for use, methyluracil tablets should be taken with food or immediately after a meal.
    Adults - 500 mg 4 times a day. (if necessary - up to 6 times a day., the maximum daily dose - 3 g);
    Children from 3 to 8 years old - 250 mg 3 times a day. (maximum daily dose - 750 mg);
    Children from 8 years to 14 years - 250-500 mg 3 times a day. (the maximum daily dose is 1.5 g).
The course for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract - 30-40 days; in other cases, may be less prolonged.

Contraindications

A strict contraindication for the use of the drug are tumor diseases of the blood and lymphatic system:
    leukemia;
    myeloid leukemia;
    hemoblastosis;
    lymphogranulomatosis;
    bone marrow disease.
In addition, the drug should not be taken by people with an individual sensitivity to methyluracil, as well as children under 3 years of age.

Side effects
