Composition and form of release

Sinupret in the form of tablets included substances such as:
    gentian root;
    primrose flowers;
    sorrel grass;
    elderberry flowers;
    verbena grass.
Sinupret is available in the following dosage forms:
    dragees: biconvex, round, green (25 pieces each in blisters, in a cardboard box 2 or 4 blisters);
    drops for oral administration: a clear yellowish-brown liquid with a fragrant odor; during storage, a slight precipitate may appear or slight turbidity may appear (100 ml in dark glass bottles, 1 bottle in a cardboard bundle).
Clinical and pharmacological group: a combined herbal preparation with secretolytic, secretomotor, anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects.

What is Sinupret used for?

Indications for the use of Sinupret are the following conditions:
    The presence of acute and inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses (complex treatment of sinusitis and sinusitis).
    The drug is used in the complex therapy of bronchitis, pneumonia, tracheitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, tracheobronchitis, cystic fibrosis, influenza, tuberculosis.
Sinupret can also be used in the complex treatment of inflammatory diseases of the ear, including otitis media.

The pharmacological properties of Sinupret tablets and drops are due to a complex of substances with biological activity that make up its composition.
    Increases the body's resistance to viral and bacterial agents, therefore it is especially recommended for patients with weakened immunity.
    It has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect: reduces swelling of the mucosa, eliminates discomfort and nasal congestion.
    Enhances the separation of the mucous exudate, facilitates the discharge of sputum. Promotes fast and effective cleansing of the sinuses of the nose.
Due to its plant origin, Sinupret acts gently, is not addictive and is characterized by a minimum of side effects.


Instructions for use

Sinupret in tablets for adults and children after 12 years, you need to drink 2 pcs. three times a day, it does not matter, before meals or after meals.
    Children from 6 to 12 years old are shown to drink 1 tablet 3 times a day.
The duration of therapy is 1-2 weeks. If the symptoms of the disease persist for more than 1–2 weeks or if they recur periodically, consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Sinupret is contraindicated in:
    children under two years of age;
    with increased sensitivity to components;
    with lactose intolerance, which is part of the tablet;
    to persons after treatment of chronic alcoholism, since Sinupret drops contain a small percentage of alcohol;
    carefully used in patients with sinusitis on the background of impaired liver function;
    consult with your doctor first if the patient suffers from epilepsy or has suffered a brain injury.
When using Sinupret in tablets, patients with diabetes should pay attention to the carbohydrates contained in the dragee and recalculate the dose of insulin.

Side effects

When using the drug Sinupret in some cases, the development of adverse reactions from the digestive tract was observed. Such reactions included nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In addition, allergic reactions (skin rashes, itching, hyperemia (redness) of the skin) may occur.
