Pinosol has an anti-inflammatory, decongestant effect, reduces the viscosity of the secretion of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract. It shows antibacterial activity against certain strains of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (S. pyogenes, S.aureus, S. epidermidis, M. luteus, B. cereus, E. coli), as well as the antifungal effect against yeast and mold fungi (Candida albicans , Aspergillus niger).

Indications

    acute rhinitis;
    chronic atrophic rhinitis;
    acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the mucous membranes of the nose and nasopharynx, accompanied by dry mucous membranes of the nose;
    state after surgery in the nasal cavity (as prescribed by the doctor - in a hospital and outpatient).

Contraindications

    hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
    allergic rhinitis;
    children's age (up to 2 years).

Pregnancy and lactation

It is possible to use Pinosol during pregnancy and during lactation (breastfeeding) according to indications.

Structure

10 ml contains:
Active substances: mountain pine oil 350 mg, peppermint oil 100 mg, eucalyptus oil 50 mg, alpha-tocopherol acetate 150 mg, thymol 3 mg;
Excipients: medium chain triglycerides.

Dosage and administration

Pinosol spray is injected 1 dose in each nasal passage 3-6 times a day, depending on the severity of the inflammatory process.
The course of treatment is 10 days. An increase in the duration and repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

Side effects of Pinosol

Local reactions: itching, burning sensation, hyperemia and swelling of the nasal mucosa.
