ORVIS Rhino Evalar is a herbal preparation for the treatment of respiratory diseases.

Dosage form of Orvis Rhino

    film-coated tablets: biconvex, round, from green to yellow-green; the core of the tablets in the cross section is brownish-gray with lighter and darker inclusions (in a pack of cardboard 1, 2, 3 or 4 contour cell packs containing 10, 15, 20 or 25 tablets).

    auxiliary components: calcium stearate - 1.25 mg; colloidal silicon dioxide - 2.5 mg; croscarmellose sodium - 7.5 mg; lactose monohydrate - 32.5 mg; microcrystalline cellulose - 28.25 mg;
    film coating: polysorbate-80 (tween-80) - 0.6099 mg; titanium dioxide - 1.8297 mg; polyethylene glycol 4000 (macrogol-4000) - 1.2199 mg; hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (hypromellose) - 6.0991 mg; dye diamond blue FCF - 0.00152 mg; quinoline yellow dye - 0.23988 mg.

The drug has a secretomotor, secretolytic, decongestant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and moderate antibacterial effect. The use of the drug leads to an outflow of exudate from the upper respiratory tract and sinuses, which helps to prevent the development of complications of pathologies.

Contraindications

Absolute contraindications for the use of all forms of release of Orvis Rhino:
    the period of breastfeeding;
    children's age: drops - under 2 years old, tablets - under 6 years old;
    individual intolerance to the components of the herbal preparation.
Additional absolute contraindications for drops: alcoholism and the period after successful anti-alcohol therapy (since they contain ethanol).
Additional absolute contraindications for tablets: lactase deficiency, lactose and galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.
With caution, ORVIS Rhino in the form of tablets is prescribed during pregnancy and in patients with diabetes mellitus.

ORVIS Rhino, instructions for use: method and dosage

ORVIS Rhino tablets are taken orally, without chewing, washed down with water in a small amount.
Recommended doses, depending on the age of the patient, provided that they are taken three times a day:
    children and adolescents from the age of 6 years: 1 tablet;
    adults: 2 tablets.
