The therapeutic effect of tablets for resorption of Hexalyse is determined by their composition:
    Enoxolone is a complex triterpene isolated from glycyrrhizic acid. It has anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antimicrobial effects.
    Lysozyme has an antimicrobial effect. Actively copes with gram-positive microorganisms, against gram-negative bacteria it is not so effective. Forms complexes with viruses, thereby exhibiting an antiviral effect.
It also has a mucolytic and anti-inflammatory effect, increases the activity of nonspecific protective factors of the body. It is a natural protective factor in the body.
    Biclotimol is an antiseptic. During topical application it has a long-lasting effect. Actively copes with staphylococci, streptococci and corynebacteria, has anti-inflammatory and local anesthetic effects. Hexalyse
is an antimicrobial and antiviral agent that relieves inflammation, which is used in otolaryngology and dentistry for the local treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the larynx, pharynx, and oral mucosa.
Available in the form of lozenges, which have a yellow-orange color, a rounded shape and a characteristic odor. Each tablet contains 5 mg of enoxolone, lysozyme hydrochloride and biclotimol, as well as auxiliary components.

Indications for use

What helps Hexalyse? According to the instructions, lozenges are prescribed for topical treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa, pharynx and larynx caused by microorganisms sensitive to biclotimol, lysozyme and enoxolone:
    acute and chronic pharyngitis;
    pharyngolaryngitis;
    tonsillitis;
    conditions after tonsillectomy;
    glossitis.

Instructions for use Hexalyse, dosage

Hexalis resorption tablets are used sublingually (under the tongue), they must be kept in the oral cavity until completely resorbed, without chewing or swallowing.
The standard dosage, according to the instructions for use, is 1 tablet of Hexalyse every 2-3 hours. The maximum dosage is 8 tablets per day.
Children over 6 years of age - 1 tablet for resorption every 4 hours.
The course of treatment is up to 10 days. With prolonged use (longer than 10 days), oral dysbiosis may occur with a risk of spread of fungal and bacterial infections.
If within 5 days of therapy the effect is weak or absent, the diagnosis should be clarified and the prescribed treatment should be reviewed.

Side effects

The instruction warns of the possibility of developing the following side effects when prescribing Hexalyse:
    Perhaps: allergic reactions, superinfection.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated to prescribe tablets for resorption of Hexalyse in the following cases:
    children under 6 years old;
    hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
With caution - during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
When prescribing the drug to patients with diabetes mellitus, it must be taken into account that 1.054 g of sugar is contained in 1 tablet.

Overdose

Due to the low degree of absorption into the systemic circulation, overdose cases have not been reported.

The tablets that the son put under his tongue and dissolve every 5 hours. It turned out about 3 tablets per day. After 4 days, the doctor noted a decrease in the foci of infection, after which he took Hexalyse for another 3 days to consolidate the effect. We got rid of stomatitis, but a quarter of a pack of pills still remains. It is a pity that they do not sell packages of 10 tablets. The drug is decent, effective on the face.
