Composition, dosage form

The therapeutic effect of Ophtolic drops is based on two active ingredients:
    polyvinylpyrrolidone, or povidone - has the properties of a lubricant, i.e. has a lubricating effect;
    polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a polymer with water-retaining properties.
The drug contains polyvinyl alcohol - 14 mg, povidone - 6 mg. The composition also includes some additional substances:
    alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride;
    sodium chloride;
    sodium edetate (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt);
    hydrochloric acid;
    caustic soda;
    distilled water.
Properly selected components provide long-term protection and hydration of the cornea.
Ophtolic eye drops are a transparent colorless solution (slightly yellowish coloring of the medicinal liquid is allowed). The treatment solution is packaged in 5 or 10 ml polyethylene bottles. In a cardboard box, one bottle and an annotation to the drug.
