Medicinal composition and form

Enzix Duo Forte is presented in two different types of film-coated tablets:
    larger pills, which are part of enalapril in an amount of 0.02 g.
    small tablets containing indapamide at a concentration of 2.5 mg.
Excipients, including lactose, do not affect the pharmacological activity.
Each container contains 10 large enalapril tablets and 5 small indapamine pills. Each carton pack contains 3 currencies, together with the manufacturer's approved instructions for use.

Pharmacological possibilities

The specific effect of Enzix Duo Forte is achieved due to the combined effect of each of the active substances on the body.
The antihypertensive effect of enalapril is due to the suppression of the angiotensin-converting enzyme. This effect is carried out by enalaprilat, which is the result of the metabolism of enalapril. Inhibition of ACE leads to a decrease in the activity of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and a decrease in pressure without an increase in heart rate.
The therapeutic effect of indapamide is carried out in several ways:
    decreased sensitivity of blood vessels to norepinephrine;
    an increase in vascular lumen, due to the activation of the secretion of prostaglandins;
    increased exposure to vasodilators (bradykinin);
The combination of effects makes the agent more effective in the treatment of sustained increases in blood pressure.

Indications for use

Taking Enzix Duo Forte is necessary for the treatment of arterial hypertension.
Application is possible after the instructions of a specialist and in the presence of a medical prescription.
