Active ingredient - Budesonide - is a synthetic corticosteroids with a pronounced anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect. When used in therapeutic doses, it almost does not resorb. Does not show mineralocorticoid activity, well tolerated with prolonged treatment.

Spray is designed for injection into the nasal passages.
Dosing regimen for children over 6 years old and adult patients, recommended by the instructions for use Tafen Nasal:
    initial treatment period: in each nostril, 2 doses (100 μg of budesonide), 2 times a day;
    standard maintenance therapy: in each nostril 1 dose 2 times a day or 2 doses 1 time a day, in the morning (maintenance dose - the lowest effective dose that relieves the symptoms of rhinitis).
The maximum single dose is 200 mcg (in each nostril 100 mcg), the maximum daily dose is 400 mcg, the duration of use is no more than three months.
When skipping a dose, the injection is carried out as soon as it comes to the realization that the previous dose is missed. If there is 1 hour left until the next dose, then the missed dose is not injected.
Maximum course - no more than 3 months.
