    irritating sensation of heat and mild tingling pain in the nasopharynx;

    increased levels of thyroid hormones;
    surgical interventions on the cranial arch (in the anamnesis);

Interaction with other medicines

The simultaneous treatment with Xymelin Extra spray and monoamine oxidase inhibitors is fraught with an increase in blood pressure.
With the simultaneous use of a tricyclic structure with antidepressants, it is possible to potentiate the effect of xylometazoline, in which noradrenaline is released from the ends of the adrenergic fibers.
When administered concurrently with substances that also block the action of acetylcholine on cholinergic receptors, an increase in the similar effect in ipratropium bromide is permissible.

The manufacturer's instructions indicate that it is necessary to store the nasal spray in a dark place, access to which is limited for small children. The optimal storage temperature is 25 degrees Celsius. Subject to all storage standards, the drug is suitable for use for three years.
