Indications

    Complivit is recommended as a prophylactic agent in conditions accompanied by an increased need for vitamins and minerals;
    with increased physical and mental stress;
    in the period of recovery after illness;
    with unbalanced and inadequate nutrition;
    in complex treatment in the appointment of antibiotic therapy.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Complivit is contraindicated for use during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug; age up to 12 years.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible with intolerance to the components of Complivit.

Interaction

Iron and calcium delay the intestinal absorption of tetracycline antibiotics and fluoroquinolones. With simultaneous use of vitamin C and short-acting sulfa drugs increases the risk of crystalluria.
Antacids containing aluminum, magnesium, calcium, as well as Kolestiramin reduce the absorption of iron. Ascorbic acid increases the absorption of penicillin and iron preparations.
With the simultaneous appointment of diuretics from the thiazide group, the probability of hypercalcemia increases.
Vitamin B6 reduces the activity of levodopa in parkinsonism patients.

How to take, the course of administration and dosage

Complivit to accept inside after food.
For the prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiency - 1 tablet 1 time per day. In case of conditions accompanied by an increased need for vitamins and minerals - 1 tablet 2 times a day.

Special instructions

Do not recommend taking Complivit at the same time as other multivitamin preparations in order to avoid overdose.
In appointing the drug should be aware that the daily dose of retinol acetate during pregnancy should not exceed 5,000 IU.
Possible staining of urine in an intense yellow color, which is not dangerous, since it is caused by the presence of riboflavin in the composition of the drug.
