Composition and release form

Available Nalgezin in the form of tablets. The package contains 10 tablets, each in an individual blister.

What helps Nalgezin?

According to the instructions, Nalgezin is shown in such situations:
    Febrile syndrome in infectious and catarrhal diseases;

    Pain syndrome of moderate or mild severity: neuralgia, myalgia, ossaly, lumboischialgia, inflammation, post-traumatic pain syndrome (bruises and sprain), postoperative pain (in orthopedics, traumatology, maxillofacial surgery, gynecology, adnexitis,headache, algomenorrhea, migraine, toothache.
Nalgezin is prescribed for symptomatic treatment (reducing pain, inflammation and reducing elevated body temperature), the drug has no effect on the progression of the underlying disease.

pharmachologic effect

Nalgezin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has a pronounced analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect.
The mechanism of the drug is associated with inhibition of cyclooxygenase 1 and 2, which gives the process of inhibition of the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. Nalgezin also helps to inhibit platelet aggregation.

Instructions for use

In this manual, the number of tablets is given for simple Nalgezin, which contains 275 mg of naproxen sodium. When you receive Nalgezin Forte, which contains 550 mg of naproxen sodium, the number of tablets must be reduced by 2 times.
According to the instructions for use, Nalgezin tablets are taken orally, washing them down with a sufficient amount of liquid.
    When using the drug as a febrifuge, the initial dose is 2 tab. Nalgezin, then you should take 1 tab. (275 mg) every 6-8 hours
    With very severe pain and the absence of a history of gastrointestinal diseases, the doctor can increase the daily dose to 6 tab. (1650 mg), but not more than 2 weeks.
    In order to prevent migraine attacks, you must take 2 tablets (550 mg), 2 times a day. But treatment according to such a scheme should be necessarily stopped, if within 4-6 weeks of taking the drug, migraine attacks do not decrease. At the first signs of headache, many doctors advise taking 3 tablets at once, that is, 825 mg of naproxen sodium, and if necessary, take another 1-2 tablets of the drug after 30 minutes.
    When using the drug as an analgesic, the average daily dose is 2-4 tab. (550-1100 mg).
    In order to relieve menstrual cramps and pain, it will be enough to take 2 tablets (550 mg) for the first time, and further reduce the dose by half and take 1 tablet (225 mg) every 6-8 hours.
    With arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, the first dose of the drug should be 2-4 tablets (550-1100 mg) in 2 doses (in the morning and in the evening).
Children older than 9 years and / or with a body weight of more than 27 kg of the drug is prescribed in a daily dose of 10 mg / kg in 2 doses.

Contraindications

Absolute contraindications to the use of Nalgezin are:
    Inhibition of bone marrow hematopoiesis.
    Period of childbearing and breastfeeding.
    Active liver disease or severe liver failure.
    Coronary artery bypass surgery (in particular, the period after the operation).
    Inflammatory bowel disease in the acute stage (Crohn's disease, UC).
    Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid, naproxen sodium, naproxen or other NSAIDs.
    Active gastrointestinal bleeding, erosive and ulcerative lesions of the duodenal mucosa and stomach.
